I had the privilege of working with Father Sean Hyland on his beautiful and bestselling book, Whisperings of My Soul, in 2018.
Father Sean, the curate for two parishes in County Offaly, felt compelled to write this story to inspire others suffering from the terrible pain of loss and grief that he experienced in his early life as a husband, father and successful businessman.
Possessing a large manuscript when I met him, we worked on editing down the huge amount of work he had created. We also added new chapters about his incredible life story.
Published with Orla Kelly Publishing in Cork, Father Sean’s remarkable book garnered significant media attention, and he quickly acquired a book distribution deal.
His book entered into the top 5 bestseller list in Ireland. Whisperings of My Soul also became the number one bestseller in Veritas nationwide stores throughout 2019. It remains on Veritas bestselling lists today and continues to sell in large numbers nationwide.
Father Sean promoted his book on the Late Late Show in early 2019.
