Mammy, I Don't Want to Die...

The Story of an indomitable mother, crazed with loss, but fighting for her life, her marriage, her children & Jake's legacy.
By Roseann Brennan. Self-published (2017)

This unforgettable book was written with Roseann Brennan, a wife, mother and campaigner who founded the Jake’s Legacy road safety campaign.

Her national campaign has been successful in reducing speeds in housing estates and residential areas in every county around Ireland in her beloved son’s name.

Roseann wanted to write a book so that she could record everything about her little boy Jake for posterity. She also wanted to produce a book to promote her campaign to save other children from her child’s tragic fate.

Roseann held a successful launch in her native city of Kilkenny where the guest speaker was hurling legend, Henry Shefflin.

Her books were sold nationwide, and she embarked on a promotional tour with her typical energy and drive. She spoke at length about her book and Jakie on the Ray D’Arcy show on RTE and also appeared on the Late Late Show as part of her promotions.
